Installing from source under Linux
- Download the sourcecode archive from udo-open-source.org
- Unpack the sourcecode archive: tar xzf
udo_xxx_src.tar.gz
- chdir into
Source directory
- make -f
Makefile.linux
- copy the UDO executable to
/usr/local/bin or into any other
directory of your $PATH.
- chdir to directory
doc/manpage and run the shell script
create_manpage_en. Copy the UDO
manualpage udo.1 to
/usr/man/man1/.
- For converting the UDO manual to HTML, chdir to
doc/manual/source and run the
shellscript create_manual_en_html
– documentation will be written to
doc/manual/html-en.
